AN OVERVIEW OF FOAM IN PRODUCTION

Reconstituted foam.
With ecology at the forefront of manufacturing we also use recycled waste polyurethane foam and turn it into a reusable resource for new applications,
made from shredded pieces of foam which are glued together, forming one solid piece of foam. Reconstituted foam is very dense and provides a solid, firm support base. With a number of density's available, reconstituted foam is very versatile with uses like carpet underlay's, for gymnasiums, furniture manufacturing and enhancing firmness in bedding. Also excellent for cushions that need to withstand heavy and/or everyday use.

Stratocell.
Stratocell is a cost effective high performance packaging solution that provides cushioning protection against repeated shock. Using less foam than many other alternative packaging materials, stratocell can be used for a wide range of high efficiency cushioning applications where extra strength and durability is required and is a very popular form of retail packaging.

Confor.
confor foam is a urethane impact resistant foam that deflects prolonged pressure when used as a comfort aid in pillows, seats etc. But acts like a more ridged foam when it comes into contact with an external force or impact. Ideal for high energy-absorption padding applications.

Pick and pluck foam.
Pick and Pluck is a polyurethane foam insert that consists of blocks vertically pre-scored high-density foam that can be easily "plucked" to provide a snug fit for equipment and accessories such as computing, cameras and AV equipment, a Pick and Pluck insert will protect valuables even in the toughest conditions.

Crosslink Polyethylene Foam.
Crosslink foam is a closed cell polyethylene foam. With it's non-porous, rigid and extremely tight pore structure. It will hold its shape better than urethane foam. It gives excellent results in its shock absorbing, moisture-proofing, heat insulating, chemical resistance, because of crosslink foams easy handling it's widely used for industrial packaging, construction and agricultural purposes.

Fireseal.
Fireseal is a Class '0' cellular acoustic fire retardant foam which has many varied uses. Reflex is a highly respected brand name for a soft recovery Polyurethane Foam. Ideal for seating and back cushions on sofas and mattresses where a soft feel is required. Memory foam.
Memory foam is polyurethane with additional chemicals increasing its viscosity and density. It is often referred to as visco-elastic polyurethane foam. Higher density memory foam reacts to body heat, allowing it to mould to a warm human body in a few minutes. It can be used in medical settings. For example, it is commonly utilized in cases where patients lie immobile in bed for an unhealthy period of time. Its most common domestic uses are mattresses, pillows, and mattress toppers. It's other medical uses include, wheelchair seat cushions, hospital bed pillows, people with postural problems; for example, a memory foam cervical pillow may alleviate chronic neck pain. Its heat-retaining properties may help some pain sufferers who find the added warmth helps to decrease the pain.
